Ian and I got to the third or fourth level this evening on co-op.
...I have no opinions about this game whatsoever.
I don't exactly like it, but I don't dislike it either. It evokes no emotions at all. Even bad games will at least make me feel bored or frustrated, and this doesn't. It's as much a non-experience as breathing air.
It's one of the weirdest videogaming experiences I've ever had.

That isn't Helen, even if he accidently kind of drew a girl who looks like her.

Let's try this again:
*I am happy with how the comic looks. Thumbs up and all that jazz. (Especially panel 2)
*The failure is just that I seem to have drawn an orange where an apple should be so to speak, causing people to get the wrong meaning from the comic. Or so the feedback would lead me to believe.
*Yes, Panel 1 is totally "invisible cheezeburger". You win 4chan. Mad props.
As my incredibly convincing hack will tell you, I've come down with a nasty lil throat bug. Went to work today, however thursday the only two things I did was sleep and play the new Team Fortress. I think I did pretty well considering my condition.
They said they needed people to call in. Apparently a talkcast is a thing where people call in! I'm behind on the times.

I actually had planned for even more text in this comic. Guess I have too much ranting on this game to fit in three panels.

Been trying to get this one out the door for a while now, but been failing on that front. So rather than continue to draw until I finish the comic at holy-shit early o'clock, I'm going to bed. I'll continue after work.
Here's hoping it won't suck as the longer between updates the more I have a pension to hate how the comic comes out. At least I'm happy with panel 1.

Of course having said this, it's only a matter of time before the forums begin to shout that I'm ruining their game. Which is fine, but if I'm going to be the scape goat, no more silly doodles for you!

Bioshock gets pretty easy towards the end. There's at least two ways to take down a Big Daddy with zero risk to yourself that I know of.
But if you can enrage a mutated socialite to open fire on an armored monstrosity and subsequently get herself hip-checked across the room, it's almost a crime not to.

Seriously, I must be the most uncreative BioShock player. Plasmids? Traps? Turrets? What do I need those for? I have a shotgun!
Sweet McNinja... It's 5:30 am... I'm going to get some damn sleep.

I've been meaning to mention these things for a while now.
As I've mentioned in past rants, I love my job. What I haven't mentioned is that I also love my office. The higher ups around here dig Victorian themes and various steam punk-ery. (Considering the name Three Rings, I would have expected elves and orcs.) So, the production part of the office is all decked out in Nautilus themed dood-dads.
Wired actually did an article on it a few months back. I refrained from designing much myself. I'm not very fond of interior decoration. Really, the only two things I created was the Puzzle Pirates divider and my desk. See, each of the artists got to design the desk they work at. We kept to a sea creature theme, so we have things like Kraken and mermaids. Mine, well, I went with Cthulhu. I'm sure your very very shocked. I'd show a picture but I'm sort of lacking one at the moment. I also added the Silent Hill 3 save point to the center of the desk. (Save often!)
My favorite area though is the tv lounge. Instead of couches they had giant tentacles stuffed like some sort of sea monster attack. While novel, after a while the they start to flatten out leaving the experience not unlike sitting in laundry. The TV isn't half bad either. (Side note, that xbox is now dead. Died playing Earth Defense Force.)
Well, that's enough for now.
